Quickie

Hi, Just wanted to let you all know that I am still here. I didn't do a lot of sewing over the weekend, but then tonight I totally quilted a lap quilt. WOW ...my new Babylock is amazing. And I bought some quilt clips that hold it in a roll while you quilt. That made it even easier.

I didn't go for free-motion on this one, I used a nice big patterned stitch that is built into my machine. I am THRILLED with how easy it was. I may learn to love the quilting part of making a quilt yet.

I want to bind it first -then you will get to see it. Okay?

Can't wait, Gene, for you to post some pictures. A lot of people follow your blog and I would appreciate your mentioning the sewing/help etc. for the Tsunami victims on your blog...would you??

You can link them to BejeweledBarb or Pat's or mine.

Thanks.

Did you like the clips? I bought them and wasn't used to them, so they are holding my curtains open,,,maybe I'll give 'em another go?

can't wait to see pics...

I guess if we have to wait for you to bind it we will have to...I take too long to do the binding so I show my stuff right away LOL

Thanks so much for hooking me up with some of that fabric you were giving away. I ordered 2 yards and it was here 2 days later....
I'm going to a retreat in May and I'm going to cut it up for the girls I'm going with and challenging them to make something with it....

I'm interested in the quilt clips. Where did you get them? - What's the brand name? Questions, questions. Can't wait to see your quilt. Isn't it wonderful all the new experiences you have with a new machine.
