Out of my head.....

Sometimes  "out of my head" is a bad thing.   But sometimes, I get some things "out of my head" and onto paper or (more likely) the computer and it can work out well.
Back in February (was it that long ago?)  I made some blocks that I "messed up" -it was an accident...but maybe my brain and the muse were playing a game with me.   I decided to show the blocks, then I named them.
One of the blocks is a "Crescent Wrench"  block.
I was playing with the idea and again "messed up" when I added color -changing the color scheme also changed the look of the block.  I did a little layout in Electric Quilt (I am using version 5)
My layout looks like this:

I call it the BeltBuckle Quilt.  To me, each red stripe looks like a belt with sliding buckles (the yellow/gold parts) on it.
Well there you have it- out of my head and onto your screen.
Peace my friends!

Edit:   Thanks to Tonya, I also see guitars.  So if you see Guitars, you can call this one "Guitar Town"

I do see guitars now that you mention it but the belt buckle is a good name too

They remind me of the ribbon sliders you use in scrap-booking. They are little metal - kind of buckles that slide on the ribbon. I really like your layout. Looking forward to seeing this take shape in fabric. I've not heard of this soft-wear I do mine in Illustrator - which is the hard way. I'll have to look into this. Thanks as always for the good info.
